Join us this summer for Tastings and Hands-On Workshops where you can learn simple and versatile recipes that make the most of seasonal produce. Local chefs will demo the recipes and then be available for guidance while you make your own versions with market fresh produce.

June 25 - PESTO PARTY at Montavilla Farmers Market

Think beyond the basil. Endlessly versatile, pesto can be made with a variety of herbs, nuts and cheeses (or no nuts/cheese). Sample new-to-you combos featuring bright spring herbs and greens!

We will be offering samples and inspiration from 10 AM - 12 PM.

August 27 - SHRUB LOVE at Montavilla Farmers Market

Summer sun, something’s begun… We are sampling SHRUBs aka drinking vinegars (concentrated syrup combining fruits or veggies + herbs, sugar, and vinegar) perfect for summer sipping with your favorite bubbly!

POSTPONED - DISCO Pickle at Montavilla Farmers Market

We are going back to where it all started - Disco Pickle! Come prepared to make quick pickles, packing your favorite summer veggies or fruit into brine while shimmying to disco tunes.

Disco Pickle is a collaboration with Slow Food Portland.
